About this photo:Just when I think Iceland can't surprise me anymore, it does. Took a turn I've never taken before and there she was, this bright yellow river. Ever since I saw this I've been looking for answers for why it's so yellow. The reason is most likely because this river is endlessly deep and doesn't flow, so the elements from the earth just sit there and lucky for me they're only visible when there is ice underneath the surface.
