Embarking on a hike through the highlands of Iceland was a crazy experience. The views were nothing short of spectacular, unlike anything I had ever seen. It was as though I had stepped onto the surface of the moon, with a surreal, lunar landscape stretching out in all directions. The highlands of Iceland had a way of making me feel both incredibly small in the grand scheme of things and intimately connected to the Earth's most magnificent secrets.
