Irene had the idea to capture herself horseback riding on a black beach. Iceland’s wide open spaces, dark sand, and changing weather make it a perfect place for this kind of shoot. That day, the weather quickly turned, and heavy rain came pouring down. But instead of stopping, the shoot carried on, and the rain ended up making everything look even better, real, powerful, and full of atmosphere.
